Small compact heads of bright green. Slightly more open than other varieties but outstanding for its flavour. Sow early spring up to July.

Sow the seeds thinly in shallow rows 1cm (¾”) deep and 30cm (12″) between the rows.

WHAT TO DO NEXT

Thin the seedlings as they appear to 15cm (6″) apart. The thinned seedlings can be transplanted into a separate bed 15cm apart. As the plants grow pull and use alternate plants.

8-10 weeks from sowing

HANDY TIP

Even in very limited space this variety can be used. Grow bags, large pots or window boxes give good regular crops.

A good source of antioxidants such as beta-carotene, lutein and vitamin C as well as vitamin K.
